First Shaolin WC Rep From K.C. In MMA

Hello Brothers,
Just wanted to keep everyone up to date on the K.C family. Just last weekend, Lonnie Dodge, an Shaolin Wing Chun practitioner for 2 years fought his first MMA fight. Lonnie fought a tough fighter who went the distance with a wrestler in his previous fight. The fighter was a striker with legs the size of tree trunks and a good chin. Lonnie has been training hard for the fight and dropped down to 205 lbs. to take on the challenge. To make a long story short, Lonnie knocked out his opponent in 46 seconds and was victorious in his MMA debut. I just wanted to congratulate Lonnie and hope that the Meng family will continue to live up to the challenge of being a superior system. We must train just as hard as MMA fighters in order to live up to the test!
On a side note, it looks like I'll be flying to West Virginia with a friend/MMA fighter to corner his fight in December. Rob Kimmons is the fighter I'll be cornering. It looks like he's got his hands full with a fighter from South Korea. I hope I'm successful in cornering Rob's fight because a win in this battle could get him signed with the UFC or Pride. His current pro record is 11 and 2, so he's the "real deal". Wish us luck!
Take care everyone.

Wing Chun Fighter Victorious in MMA Bout
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just want to take the time out to congratulate Lonnie Dodge for his impressive first round knock out in his MMA fight over the weekend. Lonnie took his time to land a myriad of crisp punches forcing his opponent to go down. I'm proud of Lonnie because not only is he my student but also because he kept his composure early in the round to block some big punches thrown by his opponent. His hard work paid divendends when he capitalized on hard legs kicks and big right hands. Congrats Lonnie on another first round knock out! Keep up the good work!

p.s. Lonnie is also featured in my MMA documentary set to be released this summer.
