Master Meng visits the Cincinnati Kwoon

On Thursday, March 5, 2009 Master Benny Meng visited our Cincinnati Kwoon. The students in the Shaolin Green Dragons program provided a demonstration of their Gei Bun Gong and Gei Bun Dong Jok skills from their First Hall training. The "Might Mights", students 5 - 7 years of age performed Stances, Footwork and Counted to 10 in Cantonese (forwards and backwards) exhibited Ng Bo Kuen. The Green Dragon Warriors (ages 10 - 18)began by doing Gei Bun Gong consisting of Jumping Jacks, Pushups, Stomach Crunches, and Squats. The Gei Bun Dong Jok movements were Stances, Footwork, Shaolin Hands, Nine (9) Kicks, and Ng Bo Kuen. They then did two person drills and releases and exhibited their 9 kicks on the "Tombstone" . The students also did jumping kicks followed by hand techniques on the hanging bag. The students had previously tested and received their sashes from Master Meng. We wish to thank Master for spending his valuable time with us.
