Weapons in HKB

I was just wondering, originally were any weapons incorporated into the HKB system? Since the energy is transfered to the hands or fingertips, is it much more difficult to extend the energy into the tip of a weapon?

Considering that HKB came from revolutionaries, I will assume they knew how to incorporate weapons into the system. Actually, our hanging stance was intended for the use of a weapon. It would normally be too narrow for use in unarmed combat.
